Shakshuka with sweet peppers


  • Red sweet pepper 2 pieces
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Cilantro 10 g
  • 4 eggs
  • Vegetable oil 30 ml
  • White Cheese 50 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste

  1. Peppers cut into strips and fry in a hot frying pan with vegetable oil for a couple of minutes. Then lower the heat and simmer the peppers for a few more minutes, until soft.
  2. Add a few cilantro leaves and large-cut tomatoes, stir-fry for a few more minutes, until the tomatoes are softer. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Make in the vegetables a few holes for eggs, lay eggs in them without damaging the yolks. Add pieces of cheese, a little more cilantro and send to the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 3 minutes.
