Black Forest Baked Oats Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup quick oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- Dash of salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- Liquid sweetener, to taste
- Chocolate chips & cherries for topping
Filling:
- 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder (optional)
- Liquid sweetener, to taste
Instructions
- Blend dry ingredients together.
- n small bowl, mix dry ingredients with milk & sweetener.
- Pour mixture into greased baking dish.
- Mix together yogurt, protein (if using), & sweetener.
- Place in center of baking dish.
- Spoon batter over edges of yogurt until mostly (or entirely) covered.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped cherries on top.
- Bake at 375 F for 9-11 minutes.
- Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top if desired (but who doesn’t want more chocolate?) Enjoy!
I made this for dinner last night and it was a huge hit.
