Ingredients

For the base:

  • 50 g soft butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp of powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g wheat flour

For the curd:

  • 540 g 9% cottage cheese (3 packets)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 80 g raisins (can be left out)

Instructions

  • First, prepare the dough for the base. Mix the butter, sugar, egg, sour cream, baking powder and flour thoroughly. Knead until a ball of dough forms. Leave to rest on the table for about 10 minutes. We recommend you to remember the recipe for the base dough, as it can be used for all flatbreads.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the curd. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix.
  • Place the baking paper in the tin (best size approx. 20 x 30 cm). Grease it a little. Spread the dough evenly over the whole tin.
  • Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly over the top. For decoration, 3 tablespoons of almond slivers and 1 tablespoon of sugar can be used.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 40-45 minutes. When ready and slightly cooled, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of icing sugar.
  • This portion makes nine pieces of a nice, very tasty and juicy cheesecake. Bon appetit!
