Honey Garlic Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Lbs salmon fillet, skin on
  • 5 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Cup honey
  • 1/4 Cup soya sauce
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • Kosher salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl whisk in honey and soya sauce and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high. Place salmon skin side down and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes covered.
  • Meanwhile add butter to a small saucepan. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add honey and soy mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce begins to thicken.
  • Pour sauce on salmon and reduce heat to medium. Cook covered for 10 additional minutes or until fish is fully cooked. Serve hot.
