Ingredients

  • 900 grams tomato
  • 2 onions or shallots
  • Olive oil
  • Basil (small plant) or a few twigs of basil
  • 2 pieces of garlic
  • 750 ml of bouillon
  • 2 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder (optional)
  • Sour cream

Instructions

  • Start with the tomatoes by making a small cut cross in the skin. Put them in boiling water to get the skin of, this goes really quickly. Get the skin of the tomato and the harder parts out of it.
  • Start with fruiting the onions/shallots in olive oil. After a while, the tomatoes can be added with the paprika powder and chili powder. The basil has to be cut into small pieces and also added to the pan. Also, the bouillon can be added and let it cook for a while.
  • The soup has to be put in the blender to make it a smooth texture. By using a sieve you can get the small tomato seeds out of the soups. Warm up again and add salt/pepper to taste.
  • Finish off by adding sour cream on top and a leave of basil. Also, a dressing of olive oil and small cut basil can be added to the soup! Enjoy.
