Baked meat in a creamy sauce
Ingredients:

  • Rump meat 600g
  • Smoked Bacon 50g
  • Onion 1 head
  • Carrots 80 grams
  • Parsley root 50 g
  • Celery Stalk 50g
  • Broth 500 ml
  • Sour cream 250 g
  • Fat 40g
  • Bay leaf 2 pieces
  • Wheat flour 40 g
  • Cane sugar 20 g
  • Lemon 30g
  • Lemon juice 10 ml
  • Black allspice to taste
  • Cranberry jam to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In the fresh beef, make holes using a fork, in which to push the chopped bacon.Salt, pepper and fry. Put in a warm place.
  2. In the same fat, fry finely chopped onion, vegetables and pour meat broth.
  3. In this mixture put the roasted meat, allspice, bay leaf, close the lid and simmer in the oven until tender.
  4. When the meat is ready, take it out of the oven.
  5. In the sauce, which stewed meat, add flour and sweat for 20 minutes. Ready to rub the sauce through a fine sieve, add sour cream, sugar and lemon juice to taste. For a good color, you can add a spoon of cane sugar to the sauce.
  6. Slice the meat and serve with Karlovy Vary dumplings (dumplings), lemon and cranberry jam.
